1111Lyra adjusted her sandals on the dusty path, heading towards the Oracle's grove. Her village suffered from a terrible blight, withering crops and weakening livestock. The elders sent Lyra, the quickest and most resourceful, to seek answers. She carried a single tarnished silver drachma, all they could spare for a prophecy.

A hush fell over the Oracle's grove as Lyra neared the gnarled olive tree. Not the Oracle, but a serpent of impossible size lay coiled there. Its scales shimmered like polished obsidian, and its emerald eyes seemed to pierce Lyra's soul.

The serpent's voice, dry and rustling, slithered directly into Lyra's thoughts. It offered a pact: prosperity for her village in exchange for a simple service. It requested a song of remembrance, sung once at the full moon at the foot of the mountain where old stones lay.

Lyra, recalling her starving village, accepted the serpent's bargain. She declared, 'If you grant my village life, I will sing the song you desire.' The serpent's eyes gleamed with satisfaction. Lyra returned to find a miracle: wilting stalks straightened, leaves unfurled, and green spread across the fields.

Weeks passed in renewed hope and tireless work, bringing a bountiful harvest. As the full moon approached, a shadow of unease crept into Lyra's heart; she remembered her promise. On the night of the full moon, under a sky ablaze with silver light, Lyra journeyed to the foot of the mountain.

Lyra found the ancient, moss-covered stones and began to sing. Her clear voice carried through the stillness, singing of the earth's cycles and forgotten lives. As the last note faded, a soft, ethereal glow emanated from the stones. Lyra felt a profound sense of peace, having honored the unseen tapestry of life.
