Little Bear loved his cozy den. Snuggle, snuggle went his nose in soft moss. It was his favorite place to be.111

One sunny morning, a little tap, tap, tap came at his door. Who could it be? Little Bear peeked out, curious.

It was a tiny blue bird with a bright yellow beak! 'Tweet, tweet!' sang the bird, a happy song.

'A surprise for you, Little Bear!' the bird chirped. Then it hopped inside, and flutter, flutter went its wings.

The bird carried a shiny red berry, the biggest berry Little Bear had ever seen! 'Ooh!' gasped Little Bear in amazement.

Little Bear wiggled his nose. The berry smelled so sweet. He took a tiny nibble, nibble. It was juicy and yummy!

Little Bear and the blue bird shared the berry. Munch, munch went Little Bear. Peck, peck went the bird, enjoying every bite.

They made happy little sounds as they ate. Sunbeams danced in the den, making everything warm and bright.

When the berry was all gone, the blue bird gave a happy chirp! and flew away. Little Bear waved his paw goodbye.

He snuggled back into his moss. The den felt extra cozy after his big surprise. He dreamed of juicy red berries and the sweet song of his new friend. Sleep, sleep, Little Bear.
